Using Tea Tree Oil Toothpaste For Natural Oral Care

Tea tree oil has natural antiseptic properties that make good toothpaste as it is effective for removing bad breath and keeping your teeth clean. Using toothpaste with tea tree oil can lower the risk of gum disease and protect your mouth and gums from diseases due to poor oral hygiene. Even dogs can benefit from tea tree toothpaste. Dogs with bad breath can use toothpaste with tea tree oil as this has proven effective for combating bad breath not only in humans but pets as well. There are toothpastes for dogs containing natural ingredients such as mint, tea tree oil, parsley and vanilla. This can kill odor forming germs and leave your dog’s breath fresh and clean. Note though that toothpaste with tea tree oil should not be considered as a cure for gum diseases. It only reduces inflammation but does not completely get rid of any diseases such as gingivitis. Dentists also warn users to not swallow the tooth paste or mouth wash even though it contains a very low concentration of tea tree oil. You can use the tea tree toothpaste in place of your regular toothpaste to prevent further damage on your teeth and gums.

Tea tree oil toothpaste may not be as popular as the toothpaste you regularly use but if you want to consider a natural way of taking care of your teeth then you might consider using it.
